Our team have been providing Electrical Engineering and Project Engineering services to the energy sector for over 25 years.
With extensive experience in the Oil, Gas, Chemicals and Renewable sectors, involving small elements of engineering design, full project life-cycle services and everything in between, JESL can supplement existing project and engineering teams or take on the full delivery of electrical projects. This can include drawings, calculations, specifications, procurement, planning and site support.
Our services include (but are not limited to):
- Design verification against international and company standards.
- Development of base project documents such as Statement of Requirements, Project Execution Plans, Business Case Analysis, Schedules, Forecasts and Estimates.
- Detailed Process Plant Electrical Design including modular e-houses, cable calculations, switchgear specification, transformer specification, motor & drive specification, UPS specification, hazardous area review, lighting, trace heating, distribution and panel design.
- Specification of Fibre Optic / Copper Data Installation.
- Specification of Equipment Room Infrastructure including Air Conditioning, lighting, cable management, UPS & standard power distribution and equipment layout.
- Specification of Site Security Schemes including electric fencing, turnstiles, traffic barriers, access control systems and CCTV.
- Preparing Construction Risk Assessments / Method Statements and overseeing site construction.
- Acting as Client’s Engineer.
Our team are always encouraged to participate in (and lead where required) client’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality initiatives.
Our services
Electrical Engineering
We can provide engineering solutions to a broad range of electrical issues associated with process plants. In house experience extends to installations up to 33kV, however we can resource expertise for higher voltages if required.
Project Engineering
We can provide Project Engineering support through the whole life-cycle of projects or specific documentation as required. Our team always seek to identify and minimise risk to schedule, integrity and cost.
Other services
Our team can provide CAD services which range from updating red line mark ups to creating full drawing sets. We can also support other disciplines and have been heavily involved in large scale re-instrumentation, infrastructure and package management projects.
